cOMMUNITY
Community is at the core of who we are.
Here are some organizations we support.
“We will aid Veterans and their families in Martin and St. Lucie Counties by helping them achieve the success of a comfortable safe home and improve their quality of life. The “HOUSE A VET” program is local, tangible and can meaningfully impact lives of VETS by helping them meet their housing needs. This could be for housing repairs, maintenance, temporary housing or permanent housing. We are a Non- Profit 501(C)(3) Veterans service organization.”
“Pets for Vets is tailored to the needs, wants and hopes of each of our Veterans. We take the time to listen and find the animal that will bring the most support and comfort. While the majority of our skilled animal companions are dogs, we’ve also placed cats and even rabbits! We invite any U.S. Veteran who could benefit from having a skilled companion animal to apply. “
“We work in local communities in all of 50 states in the US and in more than 70 countries. Families and people in need of a hand partner with Habitat to build or improve their home and with our help, they achieve the strength, stability and self-sufficiency they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
At Habitat for Humanity we believe that decent and safe housing plays a fundamental role in stable and resilient communities. We believe that no matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to live lives with dignity. We deserve to feel the strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know that we have the power to take charge of ourselves and build our own future. This is what unites us.”
“Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) is a progressive animal-welfare focused organization that enforces the Orange County Code to protect both citizens and animals.
OCAS is the only open admission shelter in Orange County, which means that it does not turn away any animal and accepts all animals, regardless of their temperament or health. The health and well-being of the animals in the care of OCAS is of the utmost importance to Orange County and its community.”
